The Bagilhong House is the first traditional Korean house at the entrance to the Bukchon Hanok Village. In the yard there is a tree.
The tree is called Bagilhong (literally “hundred day red”) because its flowers are said to bloom for a hundred days during the summer. When its brilliant pink flowers fall, only then comes the autumn harvest.
Perhaps because of this namesake, it is said that all the past inhabitants of the house lived happy, healthy and successful lives within its bounds.
The Bukchon Hanok Village, where the Bagilhong House is situated, is one of the most beautiful, well-maintained historical areas in Seoul, as well as a cultural area full of museums, galleries, and old palaces. It is unmatched in its uniqueness as an area where the past and present meet, which is why so many people are drawn to it.
Many of the first souvenir photographs taken by tourists at Bukchon Village feature Bagilhong House in the background. The current owner of the house is an artist. The house was previously owned by her mother. All rooms of the house are decorated with the artist’s own modern creations in addition to the old furniture given to artist by her mother, who was also an avid patron of art.

百日紅旅社是北村韓屋村入口的第一間傳統韓屋, 庭院裡有一棵名為Bagilhong的樹（從字面上看即為百日紅之意）, 因為據說它的花在夏天會盛開100天, 然後花朵會在呈現最輝煌的粉紅色時凋落,秋收季節也隨之到來。或許因為同名, 有個說法是住在附近的居民都會因為這株樹的存在而感到快樂,健康,也為人們帶來成功。
百日紅旅社所在的北村韓屋村, 是首爾保存的最完整的美麗歷史文化區域, 文化區域有著博物館,畫廊,古代宮殿, 這個區域最獨特的是具有著過去與現代的衝突感, 這也是為什麼這麼多人被這個地方所吸引的原因。
許多遊客在北村的第一張紀念照片都會以百日紅旅社為背景, 房子目前的主人是一位藝術家。這所房子以前是由她的母親所擁有,所有客房都裝飾有這位藝術家自己的作品, 此外舊家具是由她的母親所提供的,她的母親也是一位對藝術抱有熱忱的藝術家。
