Uiseong Sowoodang which is located in 171-3, Sanun-ri, Geumseong-myeon, Uiseong-gun, Gueongsangbuk-do is 4,589m2 area. It was picked out the site by Sowoo Lee Ga-Bal and constructed by Lee Jang-Seob, the grandson of Lee Ga-Bal, in 1890’s. It is the representative the upper class’s house and garden of the latter period of the Joseon Dynasty. The aesthetics of adaptation is connected spatially, topographically and functionally with Anchae, Sarangchae, Byeoldang and the pond. It was appointed as Important Traditional Cultural Assets no.237 in 7th, January, 2000.
