Description
Jaundang was built in 1930 and newly renovated in 2011 by renown carpenter (Daemok) Jeong Yeongsoo and an architect Kim Taek. It is separated between the 1st floor which is a Korean traditional house, Hanok, and downstair is equipped with modern amenities.
Jaundang is located in heart of Bukchon Hanok Village surrounded by Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace and Jongmyo Shrine, and home to hundreds of traditional houses, called hanok, that date back to the Joseon Dynasty.
Guests can use everything in the house including all the kitchen utensils and electronics.
We finished repair works including a drain and air conditioning system in May 2017.
