Description
The Chunchu Folk Museum is just 200m away from the birthplace of Jeong Ji-yong, the Poet of "Nostalgia." The museum, with 55 rooms, is divided into three sections: the Anchae (women's quarters) where the owner of the museum lives and offers hands-on programs such as making enzymes used in making soybean pastes and building hanok; the Byeolchae (annex) which is used as guest accomodation; and an outdoor area. The outdoor area, in particular, hosts the Hanok Village Concert on the fourth Saturday of every month when the owner teaches the public a style of dance that was performed by the aristocrats in the past.
