The place is quite peaceful and quiet. Walking distance to Anguk Subway station and Insadong!

Typical traditional Korean B&B style with great local breakfast! But the rooms are quite small and you have to sleeo in the floor..

We went there during winter time, the place is a bit hard to find but still located in the center and near Bukchon Area. The subway station (Anguk station) is about 10 min to walk.Additionally I really liked the heated floor of the room!!  

Gaonjae is located in the Center and super close to other tourist attractions like Insadong, Samcheongdong and other palaces (Changkeok palace, Kyungbok palace). The ambience of Gaonjae itself and even the surrounding (other areas of Bukchon) also represents the traditional Korean culture. 

The place is located just in the center of Bukchon, so it's super convenient to get around Seoul if you stay here!You can feel the super unique atmosphere of Hanok. I recommend you to sit around the Courtyard of Gaonjaeand just relax it will offer you great inner peace

말그대로 한옥

I will surely recommend Gaonjae who want to have a traditional Korean experience. We stayed 2days. Actually We felt korean culture fully. The area has many traditional houses like Gaonjae, It takes less than 10 minutes to walk from Anguk station! The toilets are located in the room. it was clean! The host is one of the best hosts I have met. They are very patient and polite, and always check on your needs. (Thank you guys!)

외국에서 오시는 어머님 친구와 친구 아드님을 위해 방을 찾다 이곳에 소개시켜드렸습니다. 두분 다 한국말이 서툰데 친절하신 주인분 덕분에 편하게 모실 수 있었어요. 방 선택도 두분이 원하는 대로 잘 맞춰주시고 주변 교통도 편리하고 이렇게 저렇게 좋은 시설로 잘 머무르다 간다며 좋아하셨습니다 ^^ 추천해요~

I had a wonderful time staying at this guest house. It is a vary beautifully maintained facility. There is a very large courtyard and living room/kitchen area open for guests use. It is a real treat to stay in a Hanok home and I recommend anyone staying in Korea to do so. Bukchon is the perfect area for tourists. It is in walking distance to many of Seoul's main sights and is a unique experience. Keep in mind you will have to sleep on a mat on the floor.

후기가 늦어 죄송합니다. ^^ 11월 8~10일까지 2박3일간 내집처럼 지내고 온 일행입니다. 한옥이 너무 부담스럽다 생각하였는데 정말 돈이 아깝지 않은 여행이었습니다. 아이들에게 너무 좋은 경험이었고 쾌적한 숙소로 인해 아이들을 마음놓고 재울 수 있었습니다. 아침에 차려져있던 우유와 토스트, 계란, 과일 등은 여행중에 잘 챙겨먹지 못하는 아침을 간단히 해결할 수 있어 너무 좋았습니다. 다음 여행때는 망설임 없이 가온재를 선택하고 갈 듯 싶습니다.

点评很抱歉推迟。 ^^ 11月8日到像2晚3天到10天呆在家里聚会。韩屋were'm想得负担是值得没有钱旅行。这是为孩子太舒服了一个伟大的经验，由于离开住宿可以助眠心脏的孩子。牛奶和面包，鸡蛋，水果等，在早上就能解决根本不吃早餐的旅途中挤满了良好止跌回升是太美好了。当你选择了接下来的行程，我想毫不迟疑地再次显得温暖而归。
